Under the hood
Hundreds, sometimes thousands, of people record the same songs at a concert. I’m usually one of them. Each clip arrives with no reliable idea of when it was filmed, because phone clocks drift and metadata is often inaccurate. The clips share audio from the same PA system.
CrowdClip identifies moments by matching audio. Given a single reference recording of the event, every clip can be placed onto a shared timeline by matching audio, and clips with nearby positions can be grouped, and eventually stitched, remixed, or shown side by side.
