CrowdClip Data Deletion Instructions

Last updated

You can remove CrowdClip's access and request deletion of your data using either method below.

Method 1: Disconnect Instagram

You can remove CrowdClip through your Instagram or Meta account’s connected-apps settings. Open your Instagram or Meta account settings, find the list of authorised apps and websites, and remove CrowdClip.

Disconnecting stops any future authorised API access. It may not, on its own, identify every historical CrowdClip record for deletion, so if you also want existing data removed, please use Method 2 below.

Method 2: Request deletion directly

with the suggested subject line “CrowdClip data deletion request” and include:

  • Your Instagram username.
  • The email address associated with your CrowdClip interaction, if applicable.
  • Whether you are an artist account owner or a fan who submitted media.
  • A description of the data you want removed.
  • Any relevant submission or permission-request reference.

Please do not email passwords or Instagram access tokens. They are never required to process a deletion request.

What happens next:

  • Your request will be acknowledged.
  • CrowdClip may request reasonable verification.
  • Valid requests will be processed within 30 days, unless retention is required by law, security obligations, or the need to document an existing media licence.
  • You will receive confirmation once the request is completed.

Or submit a request here

This form sends the same information as Method 2 and gives you a confirmation reference. Submitting it records your request; it does not delete data immediately.

Only used to confirm your request. Never send passwords or access tokens.
