CrowdClip Terms of Service
Effective
These terms govern your use of CrowdClip. By connecting an account, submitting media, or otherwise using the service, you agree to them.
Service status
CrowdClip is an experimental personal project. It may change, be interrupted, become unavailable, or contain errors at any time and without notice.
Account authority
A person who connects an Instagram professional account must have the authority to manage that account and to authorise CrowdClip to act on its behalf.
Fan submissions
A person who submits a clip must have the right to upload it and must not submit content that is owned exclusively by someone else.
Ownership
You retain ownership of your media. CrowdClip does not obtain ownership of a file merely because it is uploaded.
Any rights you grant to an artist are described in the specific permission request you accept as a fan. Nothing in these terms grants an artist rights beyond what that permission request states.
Prohibited use
You must not use CrowdClip to:
- Infringe copyright, privacy, or publicity rights.
- Harass or impersonate another person.
- Upload unlawful or malicious files.
- Circumvent Instagram or Meta platform rules.
- Obtain permission through deception.
- Abuse automated messaging.
Third-party platforms
CrowdClip depends on third-party platforms such as Instagram and Meta. Features may stop working when those platforms change their APIs, policies, or availability, and CrowdClip is not responsible for those changes.
No guarantee
The service is provided on an “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind. CrowdClip does not guarantee continuous availability, the successful recovery of any media, or that a fan will grant permission.
Termination
CrowdClip may suspend access or remove content where necessary to protect users, the service, or the rights of third parties.
